THE HON WAYNE MARTIN, CHIEF JUSTICE OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA
The Honourable Wayne Martin was appointed as Western Australia’s 13th Chief Justice on 1 May 2006. He joined the Independent Bar in 1988 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1993. From 2001 – 2003, he took on the role of counsel assisting the HIH Royal Commission in Sydney.
The Chief Justice was President of the WA Bar Association between 1996 and 1999, and Chairman of the Western Australian Law Reform Commission from 1996 to 2001, when the commission completed the Review of the Criminal and Civil Justice System in Western Australia. The Chief Justice was also a member of the Council of the Law Society of Western Australia, and was President of the Society when appointed to his current office. Read more...
RICHARD HARDING, EMERITUS PROFESSOR OF LAW AT THE
UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Richard Harding is Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Western Australia.
From 2000-2008 he was the inaugural Inspector of Custodial Services for Western
Australia, during which time he established the standards and modus operandi of
autonomous inspection of prisons and other custodial services. Previously, Professor
Harding was Director of the UWA Crime Research Centre (1988-2000) and Director of
the Australian Institute of Criminology (1984-87).

June Oscar is a Bunuba woman who has lived her life in Fitzroy Crossing, a remote community in the far northwest of Australia. She graduated with a Business degree from Notre Dame University, and her past roles have included being a director of Bunuba Films, Chairperson of the Kimberley Language Resource Centre, and head of the pastoral company 'Leopold Downs' owned by the Bunuba people. June speaks 3 languages and has used these skills to advise on the Jandamarra project, the story of a famous Bunuba resistance fighter in the Kimberley and in her advisory role with the Kimberley Aboriginal Law and Culture Centre as well as state and commonwealth governments boards.

ANNE WORRALL, EMERITA PROFESSOR OF CRIMINOLOGY, KEELE UNIVERSITY, UK
Anne Worrall graduated from Keele University in Sociology and Applied Social Studies, with the Certificate of Qualification in Social Work. After several years as a probation officer, she returned to Keele to obtain an MA and PhD in Criminology. She worked as a Lecturer in Social Work at Manchester University before coming back to Keele in 1989. She has held management responsibilities as Head of School and Director of the Centre for Criminological Research. She retired from full-time employment in 2009.
